No two ways about it, Antelpe Canyon is a MAGNIFICENT experience. It is a "gem" of geological splendor and if you take photos, you cannot take a bad one. So, the only reason this is a 4 instead of a 5 is that Communication with Dineh Tours was fault to say the least. There was a mistake in their communication and they told us to be ready at 8am...we were and the bus came and would not let us get on because we were not on the list. We tried desperately to communicate with the office and the tour operator by text but kept meeting with nothing!!! Frustrating!!!. FINALLY, after hours we got an answer at the office and were assured that we were on the list for the later tour and would be picked up withing the hour for our 10:30 tour...the message to be ready at 8 was a mistake. OK...well, we finally did get on in their van and had a great experience. But word to the wise here...this tour is arduous. Granted it was 100+degrees, and I am in my 70's, but in good shape. This companies vehicles are safari trucks...open sides and metal seats. Through no fault of the driver the terrain was soft sand and we got joseled and bounced all the way to the site and back. I am still, a week later, suffering from a bad back. THERE ARE tour agencies that have closed in, air conditioned, cushier seats. That company is "Antelope Canyon Tours" and I would definitely choose that option next time. Another tip, be advised there is a 1 and1/2 mile hike (round trip) from the bus to the actual canyon entrance...wear a hat and have LOTS of water. Just sayin'.

We were promptly collected from our accommodation, loaned a clear bag, offered masks but we had ours. The rules and useful information was provided ahead of the guide giving us significant information on the Navajo and the Slot Canyons. 10/10 experience, the van (mini bus) was spotlessly clean. Highly recommended.
