Navajo owned and operated. On this, 5 1/2 hour, half day tour you will see two of the most sought after Canyons in the Page, Az area. Both Canyons are unique in their own separate ways. Upper is an “A” shaped canyon while lower is a “V” shaped canyon. Both Canyons are a bucket list check off for many people.

What To Expect

Lower Antelope Canyon

Our first stop is the Lower Antelope Canyon. – Lower Antelope Canyon is a MODERATE tour for guest. You will hike 1.1 miles from start to finish (1770.27 meters). Upon entering the Canyon, you will descend 74 steps to the bottom of the Canyon. once at the bottom you will hike at a gradual incline towards the exit along with ladders and small stairs into each chamber of the Canyon. You may google LOWER ANTELOPE STAIRS & LADDERS, and you will have a visual of the steps and ladders (5 ladders & 2 small stairs toward the exit). The tour guides will give you photo tips and information of the Slot Canyons. As well as cultural information of the Dineh.

Big Lake Trading Post

After the Lower Antelope Canyon we will stop at a picnic area where you may use the restroom. Additional food and drinks may be purchased at this location.

Antelope Canyon

Our second portion of the tour will be at the Upper Antelope Canyon. Upper Antelope Canyon is an easy hike for guest. Transport to the entrance of the Canyon is located 4 miles from the main highway. From the drop off point at the entrance will be a 1-mile hike roundtrip (1609 meters). Upon exiting the Canyon, you will hike on an incline up and around the top of the Canyon and descend 150 steps staircase back to the vehicle drop-off point. You will do a 1-hour tour and will see the difference in the Upper and Lower Antelope Canyons.

This was EVERYTHING we hoped for. The canyons are so cool. Don’t choose & do both. The canyons are different. The canyon guides were wonderful.

The pick up and the send back was on time at 0815 hrs and 1315 hrs respectively. Tom was the driver/tour guide who brought us to both Lower and Upper Antelope Canyons where we were handed over to the tour operators on site. There were two tour operators for Lower Antelope Canyon - Dixie's and Ken's. We were taken to Dixie's for a tour at 0915 hrs. The guide was Nate and he was great. Absolute professional. Helped me with the camera settings and took some shots for me. We were then taken for short restroom break at the gas station and then to Upper Antelope Canyon for a 1140 hrs tour. This timing was important because only a couple of tours around this timing would give have sunlight piercing through the canyon, providing those all important unique photo opportunities.

Amazing slot canyons, the guides are very patient and helpful with pictures. The canyons are very interesting, relatively easy to walk thru.
