Navajo owned and operated. On this, 5 1/2 hour, half day tour you will see two of the most sought after Canyons in the Page, Az area. Both Canyons are unique in their own separate ways. Upper is an “A” shaped canyon while lower is a “V” shaped canyon. Both Canyons are a bucket list check off for many people.

What To Expect

Lower Antelope Canyon

Our first stop is the Lower Antelope Canyon. – Lower Antelope Canyon is a MODERATE tour for guest. You will hike 1.1 miles from start to finish (1770.27 meters). Upon entering the Canyon, you will descend 74 steps to the bottom of the Canyon. once at the bottom you will hike at a gradual incline towards the exit along with ladders and small stairs into each chamber of the Canyon. You may google LOWER ANTELOPE STAIRS & LADDERS, and you will have a visual of the steps and ladders (5 ladders & 2 small stairs toward the exit). The tour guides will give you photo tips and information of the Slot Canyons. As well as cultural information of the Dineh.

Big Lake Trading Post

After the Lower Antelope Canyon we will stop at a picnic area where you may use the restroom. Additional food and drinks may be purchased at this location.

Antelope Canyon

Our second portion of the tour will be at the Upper Antelope Canyon. Upper Antelope Canyon is an easy hike for guest. Transport to the entrance of the Canyon is located 4 miles from the main highway. From the drop off point at the entrance will be a 1-mile hike roundtrip (1609 meters). Upon exiting the Canyon, you will hike on an incline up and around the top of the Canyon and descend 150 steps staircase back to the vehicle drop-off point. You will do a 1-hour tour and will see the difference in the Upper and Lower Antelope Canyons.

Our tour director was Tilford Benoni and he escorted us to the Upper and Lower Antelope canyons. He did a great job of giving us local history as well as information about the slot canyons. Lots of water and bathroom breaks! The guides for both canyons were very good as well. They took some photos for us and helped us with our cameras. Worth the money. A great experience.

Very enjoyable tour! Thank you for offering this tour! This is a small family owned business. Very organized. Comfy van with safe place to put bags that can’t be brought in. Enjoyed Tom’s photos and narration and ample preparedness with snacks/water/clear bags and bathroom breaks! It’s cheaper to book yourself directly but we booked late and those direct bookings weren’t available. Dineh reserves ahead of time and has a higher price for a premium experience. If you can afford it I definitely recommend Dineh! In addition, the 8:15 time was perfect! We did lower canyon first and then upper around 11:40 and literally caught the 30 min or so the sun shines through to make the iconic lights in the canyon. (Summer has a much longer time for this light). So happy with our first viator experience

We were picked up at the hotel which was very nice/convenient. Our tour guides were great, and took multiple pictures for us and told us how to set our cameras to get the best shots. At times we had to wait for the groups in front of us to move ahead but it was not terribly problematic or inconvenient. Would highly recommend.
