Navajo owned and operated. On this, 5 1/2 hour, half day tour you will see two of the most sought after Canyons in the Page, Az area. Both Canyons are unique in their own separate ways. Upper is an “A” shaped canyon while lower is a “V” shaped canyon. Both Canyons are a bucket list check off for many people.

What To Expect

Lower Antelope Canyon

Our first stop is the Lower Antelope Canyon. – Lower Antelope Canyon is a MODERATE tour for guest. You will hike 1.1 miles from start to finish (1770.27 meters). Upon entering the Canyon, you will descend 74 steps to the bottom of the Canyon. once at the bottom you will hike at a gradual incline towards the exit along with ladders and small stairs into each chamber of the Canyon. You may google LOWER ANTELOPE STAIRS & LADDERS, and you will have a visual of the steps and ladders (5 ladders & 2 small stairs toward the exit). The tour guides will give you photo tips and information of the Slot Canyons. As well as cultural information of the Dineh.

Big Lake Trading Post

After the Lower Antelope Canyon we will stop at a picnic area where you may use the restroom. Additional food and drinks may be purchased at this location.

Antelope Canyon

Our second portion of the tour will be at the Upper Antelope Canyon. Upper Antelope Canyon is an easy hike for guest. Transport to the entrance of the Canyon is located 4 miles from the main highway. From the drop off point at the entrance will be a 1-mile hike roundtrip (1609 meters). Upon exiting the Canyon, you will hike on an incline up and around the top of the Canyon and descend 150 steps staircase back to the vehicle drop-off point. You will do a 1-hour tour and will see the difference in the Upper and Lower Antelope Canyons.

Bad organisation and follow up We lost a half day Despite several calls and questions due to the bad weather and long delay, The visit was cancelled when we arrived on the site

We do understand your frustration and disappointment as you were notified tours for the Lower Antelope Canyon would be cancelled due to weather, and later the Upper Antelope to cancel later in the morning. We do understand your frustration as we do not have any forewarning of weather cancellations prior to visiting. Everything is played by ear and up to the moment tours are deemed not safe. It is not only our company but all tour operators in the area. We were also upset that we were not properly notified Upper closed, not till we arrived for our scheduled tour time. We understand Upper Antelope had many people to notify of cancelled tours and simply forgot to share the new with us, and for that we apologize on their behalf as well as ours. We do try to give all our guest a memorable experience while on vacation. Again, we do apologize for the delay of the tours and for the weather and we do understand your frustration and dissatisfaction. Great tour - the driver (Tom) picked us up promptly, was very informative during the drive and escorted us to our tour guides. Lower Antelope was amazing but definitely a bit strenuous climbing down the ladders! Upper Antelope was easy access and even more amazing. The Navajo guides were super helpful, gave us tips for setting up our iPhone cameras, and even offered to take photos for us with our cameras throughout the tour. They know all the right angles to get the perfect shot. They also provided historical info and even local restaurant recommendations! Highly recommend!
