Our family of 4 booked the 1/2 Day Colorado River trip out of Kremmling, CO.
One of our kids was super excited for this trip for weeks in advance. Needless to say we all left a little underwhelmed. Our 10 year old boy was put in the middle of the raft with our 7 year old. They didn’t get to see much the whole trip as they were lodged down in the middle surrounded by adults.
We also purchased the photos in advance but that was also a big waste of money. Since our kids were lodged down in the middle of the boat you can only make out our daughters face in 1 of the pictures.
Overall we wish we would have saved the time and money and went for a hike or just found a creek for the kids to play in. Lesson learned and we are not one to complain but when we mentioned our issues to the front desk back in Kremmling the reply was basically “sorry, it is what it is”
Ranking it 2 stars rather than 1 just because the guides did seem to want to provide a good time and they did a good job entertaining.
Finally, I won’t get into the COVID issues as I work in the medical field but let’s just say do not take this rafting trip if you have any concerns about social distancing or make sure you book your own raft. I understand they have to combine groups but no masks were required for the blending of groups and that was also a little concerning.
