This wonderful Colorado River float trip is a gently flowing section that is inviting to all ages. You’ll encounter a few small rapids as the Colorado River winds through the Gore Range and Mountain Ranchland. This is a relaxing day with time to sunbathe, swim or just relax and enjoy the day on your Colorado River rafting trip. The Colorado float half day trip is available two departures per day. This trip departs from our Kremmling Outpost, where you will check in and load an AVA vehicle for the 30-minute drive to the Colorado River. We run from Pumphouse Recreation Area to Radium on this trip.

We had such a fun trip on the Upper Colorado with AVA. It was a beautiful day. The staff was great and enthusiastic about making sure we had a fabulous experience! Victoria our guide took great care of us! We also saw 2 bald eagles!! We highly recommend this trip!

We had a wonderful time rafting the upper Colorado River. Victoria was an excellent guide, and great with my 4 boys. (Ages 13, 11, 7, 5) The other guides and bus driver made the short bus ride fun and entertaining. We will definitely raft with them again next time we go to Breck!

We had a great time!!! I have a little girl that is nine, and boys aging seven, four, and 2 1/2. They all had a great time, it was a great introduction to rafting, now they wanna go back and do level three and four 😁 Jamie, our guide, was awesome!
