This wonderful Colorado River float trip is a gently flowing section that is inviting to all ages. You’ll encounter a few small rapids as the Colorado River winds through the Gore Range and Mountain Ranchland. This is a relaxing day with time to sunbathe, swim or just relax and enjoy the day on your Colorado River rafting trip. The Colorado float half day trip is available two departures per day. This trip departs from our Kremmling Outpost, where you will check in and load an AVA vehicle for the 30-minute drive to the Colorado River. We run from Pumphouse Recreation Area to Radium on this trip.

What To Expect

AVA Colorado Rafting

When you arrive to our Kremmling Outpost, you will check-in with our front desk staff, gear up, meet your guide, then load up on our vehicle to shuttle over to the trip start location.

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Had a great time today. Guides were knowledgeable and entertaining. Beautiful weather and this is a hands on tour. Included a group of all ages, I highly recommend this tour! Nelson was our guide. He was well seasoned to do these tours and provided some “special spins and entertainment. Nice lunch provided, only comment would be that drink should be provided. A jug cooler of water was provided but only 5 cups. About 60 in the group. Many had water bottles so it worked out.

Our group had a great trip with Nathan. He was very knowledgeable about the area and made the journey both fun and safe! This is a perfect way to see the stunning beauty of the Rockies. You get the rafting experience without feeling intimidated. Relaxing, enjoyable and memorable!

Clean facility, nice gear and staff. They had a great selection of shirts and hoodies as well. Well worth the trip! We saw eagles, beaver dens, swallow nests, geese and beautiful mountain scenes. And the heard them dreaded beaver shark!! IYKYK HA
