This wonderful Colorado River float trip is a gently flowing section that is inviting to all ages. You’ll encounter a few small rapids as the Colorado River winds through the Gore Range and Mountain Ranchland. This is a relaxing day with time to sunbathe, swim or just relax and enjoy the day on your Colorado River rafting trip. The Colorado float half day trip is available two departures per day. This trip departs from our Kremmling Outpost, where you will check in and load an AVA vehicle for the 30-minute drive to the Colorado River. We run from Pumphouse Recreation Area to Radium on this trip.

What To Expect

AVA Colorado Rafting

When you arrive to our Kremmling Outpost, you will check-in with our front desk staff, gear up, meet your guide, then load up on our vehicle to shuttle over to the trip start location.

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

It was great learning from the guides while taking a relatively sedate ride down the river. Our guides name was funnily enough, river, and she was very knowledgeable. A family we rode with was from Holland and Germany and River was from the Netherlands so it was cool hearing them converse in their native languages!!

Fantastic trip. We had a 9, 7, and 3 year old and 4 adults. Ian Morris was incredibly knowledgeable, accommodating and hilarious. Would highly recommend and would do this again.

This item was on my bucket list forever and I’m so glad I found this place, the price was great and the experience was amazing. The tour guides were friendly helpful and knowledgeable. The views were amazing! We did a level 2 which was very family friendly. I can’t wait to go back and do this again!!
