Our 2.5 hour raft trip takes place on the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. This beautiful river follows along Glacier National Park and provides incredible views into the Park the entire way. You'll go through 9 named class 2 and 3 rapids while hearing legends, lore and history of the Park along your 8 mile journey down the river.

Shoe rentals are $7 once wetsuits are no longer required.

Rental equipment such as helmets, PFDs, and paddles are all provided.

Suitable for all physical fitness levels
Youth rates apply for ages 12 and under. Minimum of 50 lbs. No maximum weight but must be able to wear a life jacket which can accommodate up to a 56 inch chest.
Wear clothing that you don't mind getting wet and footwear that stays securely on your feet such as tennis shoes, sneakers, water shoes or sandals with straps (please no flip flips of Crocs). We have water shoes available to rent for $5. Wet suits and splash jackets will be included and provided during the months of May and June or during periods of cooler weather. Trips depart rain or shine.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our half day trip! Being on the water took our minds off of the smoke filled skies and didn't even notice once we were on the water. Even the bus ride over was a blast! The guides explained how groups would be paired with other groups, and walked us through how everything worked. Super easy! And they even found ways to make everyone laugh and ease into it all. I know some of us were kind of nervous as it was our first white water adventure. Once we were off the bus, we were directed to our rafts. It was an easy going experience from the start! Shout out to our guide WES! He made us laugh the whole way through! He dished out some fun information about the area and always was quick with a response when we asked him questions (even the silly ones, sorry Wes!). Wesley was really good at explaining how to row properly and effectively. He made it seem so easy! He would give us heads up about upcoming rapids, and although I was nervous, he helped me stay calm and reminded us we were on an adventure! Wes singing sea shanties helped calm the nerves too! We had two smaller children on our raft (our 11y/o and the other group's child about the same age) and they both seemed to enjoy themselves, especially through the rapids! From the check-in process (we were so late! And I still can't thank GRC staff enough for being patient and not making us feel worse than we already did), to our bus ride, from our time with our guide Wes (hey Wes!) to the end of our adventure, we had the best time ever! Glacier Raft Company is the ONLY rafting company to go! Thanks again Wes!

What a wonderful experience Glacier Raft Company provided from the very start! From booking the reservation to leaving their parking lot. Working in the tourism industry, it is such a treat to go and enjoy the experiences we talk about. Our guide, Vance was great, he made everyone on the raft feel comfortable and safe. Upon returning, of course you have to purchase the photos and by the way this particual day they had a lemonade stand had 2 adorable young boys serving with a smile (sorry if you missed it).

Bus ride was short to the launch point. Safety presentation was highly professional and easy to follow. Scenery was extremely beautiful. Raft. Incredibly lit. Trevor (street alias Twisted T) was our guide & we could not ask for a better man to share a tube with. He yelled a lot on the bus & defended us against Gavin’s feeble & futile attacks on Sport Tube #2. After a paddle test, we proved ourselves to be incredibly sporty under his tutelage. He stopped & gave us ample time to swim & taste the pure mountain water. He used his ströng arms to help pluck us from Montana’s tastiest rapids. Upon re-entry to Sport Tube #2, he even gave us a quick kiss on the mouth (European style. Nothing weird) to welcome us back to safety & his guidance. We really did unwind with a twist.
