Our 2.5 hour raft trip takes place on the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. This beautiful river follows along Glacier National Park and provides incredible views into the Park the entire way. You'll go through 9 named class 2 and 3 rapids while hearing legends, lore and history of the Park along your 8 mile journey down the river.

Youth rates apply for ages 12 and under. Minimum of 50 lbs. No maximum weight but must be able to wear a life jacket which can accommodate up to a 56 inch chest.
Wear clothing that you don't mind getting wet and footwear that stays securely on your feet such as tennis shoes, sneakers, water shoes or sandals with straps (please no flip flips of Crocs). We have water shoes available to rent for $5. Wet suits and splash jackets will be included and provided during the months of May and June or during periods of cooler weather. Trips depart rain or shine.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

This is a not to be missed experience while visiting Glacier National Park. We paid and registered online. A day before our trip, we received an email also allowing us to sign our waiver. There is ample parking at the site. Bathrooms and changing rooms are available. Glacier Raft's website clearly communicates clothing and other items needed for an enjoyable trip. The selection of the half day white water trip was perfect for us. From start to finish, our total time was about three hours. You will help paddle a bit. It is not at all strenuous. Getting wet is a big part of the fun, and the rapids are very mild. You will be riding a school bus to the launch site. Sam set the tone for a great time with her "bus banter". The site where we launched also had a bathroom. Our guide, Joe, is a seasoned, entertaining guide. He was very knowledgeable, skilled, and always followed all safety protocols. There is an opportunity to stop for a brief swim if you are interested. Take advantage of the company's offer to secure your keys at the office. It is much more relaxing to take nothing with you on the raft. At the end of the trip, there is an easy five minute walk back to Glacier Raft Company. Photos will be taken during one rapids run. They can be purchased after the trip. There are blank envelopes in the office. Pick one up to leave a tip for your guide. They are kept secure in a safe. I suggest booking as soon as possible, Glacier is always extremely busy in the summer.
