Went on this as part of New York Pass option. Being non-American was a good intro to early American and New York history

We loved the tour with George. He was well informed and gave us a great intro to the neighborhood. He clearly knows the neighborhood well as he bumped into friends along the way. Stops include: Alexander Hamilton's house, City College, old brownstones, many churches, Malcolm X Blvd and more. Would do it again !

I took this tour a couple of years ago & was pleased to have the same tour guide George. My sister hadn't been to Harlem before. We two were the only ones on the cold & windy day. It seemed as though we didn't see or hear as much on this tour as my previous but that may have been due to the weather. George was very knowledgeable about the history of NYC in general & Harlem in particular. We also really appreciated his restaurant referral as we would have walked right by.
