I took this tour a couple of years ago & was pleased to have the same tour guide George. My sister hadn't been to Harlem before. We two were the only ones on the cold & windy day. It seemed as though we didn't see or hear as much on this tour as my previous but that may have been due to the weather. George was very knowledgeable about the history of NYC in general & Harlem in particular. We also really appreciated his restaurant referral as we would have walked right by.

beautiful place with lots of information about monuments and people who lived there and made their history. Our guide was very attentive and extremely humorous, always smiling. And in the end we saw a music show in the Gospel Church. Fantastic. It's worth going.

George our tour guide was a very nice man. He gave us some history of the area, showed us the university and gave us a little background on Hamilton before walking 10 blocks to show us the front of The Apollo. It was an OK tour but could have been more informative give the ‘just walking’ time we had.
