It had been a few years since snorkeling last...but...once I got reacquainted w/the gear the fish were right there on the reef next to the shoreline, colorful & varied! A beach umbrella rental ahead of time would be helpful as there is little shade. Shave ice at concession was big enough for 3 and deliciously hydradibg! Great morning!

What a nice experience. I can't imagine going to Hanauma Bay any other way, especially if it's your first time there. The parking situation is awful so it's great not to have to deal with that.

Bus driver Mark was promptly on time, gave us background information about Hanauma Bay and was friendly. It was a good experience. I would recommend getting the chairs and Umbrella. It was hot and nice to have shade!
