After having a poor experience with the quality of the food a few years ago, I probably should've known better than to visit again. When I arrived, the place was fairly empty, but there were at least a dozen tables piled up with waste and utensils etc. It took forever for my server to come and take my order, and even longer for my soft drink to arrive. My food order then came out wrong, and it took 15 minutes to attract the servers attention to rectify it. In fact, he came and asked if I was ready for the check! No mate, I've not even touched my food. Half way through my food he again asked me if I was ready for the check. Very much felt like I wasn't welcome and they couldn't wait to get rid of the remaining customers. This was 8pm, so nowhere near closing. The staff seemed overworked and couldn't have cared less if they'd tried. This despite there being about six of them doing nothing. When I left, there were still several tables that hadn't been cleared from when I entered. And they had a cheek to automatically add the 16% gratuity plus a 2.50 tip to my check! On the plus side, when my food did arrive correctly, it was nice. And they gave me more fries.

A lovely Hard Rock Cafe at Pier 39. Unfortunately, they no longer serve potato skins and draft Guinness; I wonder why. Excellent service.

We always visit here when in USA. Wasn’t very busy when we arrived and were seated fairly quickly. Service a bit on the slow side considering it wasn’t busy. Food was good as usual. Downside - it was absolutely freezing, we seemed to catch the draught coming through the door and had to keep our coats on which didn’t make much difference, it was as though we were eating outside.
