Outstanding tour. An energizing and theatrical tour guide who is a native that thoroughly knows Harlem history.

Our tour guide, Wilson, was very personable, down to earth and most of all knowledgeable. I came with a desire to have my interest in Harlem's history advanced and it was. I like to read books, however, interacting with an individual and going to actual buildings and streets to discuss history is very engaging. We were blessed with meeting the son of an icon on this trip and I appreciated the short highlight of Billy Holiday the most. I appreciated this informative and flexible stroll through a few significant blocks in Harlem. ~ Annette Olivia Brown, author.

The Harlem Renaissance Tour was a fantastic experience. Neil, our guide, is extremely knowledgeable and personable. The tour was more like spending time with a scholar and friend from the neighborhood than a typical guide who has memorized a handful of facts. The tour has a set route, but Neil also incorporated new elements to respond to our questions and areas of interest. I'm hard to please when it comes to organized tours and I really can't say enough good things about this experience. Check it out if you have any interest in this neighborhood or the cast of amazing characters from the Harlem Renaissance.
