This company does not answer their phone after youā€™ve made an appointment. I finally got in contact with them the day the tour was scheduled. Only to be told that no one was available to do the tour. This company is a scam. And I would not recommend to anyone.

It was a treat to be led along by a true Harlem native. Neal's pride and commitment to the community was in evidence as he presented Harlem's culture and history with dramatic flourish, and he brings you back to the Renaissance as if you were there and events of the distant past were taking place before you. It was clear that the community loves him back; as we went through the tour, he was often greeted by passersby as if he were a local celebrity : )

We were lucky enough to be the only 2 people on this tour with Neil. We had a great time learning some of the history of harlem and exploring the area. Also talking to the gentleman at the apollo theatre! They both shared lots of great knowledge, and even though it rained most of the time the tour was very enjoyable, we could have spent all day with Neil! thanks again!
