A fascinating tour by a pasionate person of the Hasidic culture that she chose to leave. What a courageous audacity that we can measure by discovering this ultra-conservative world! But also what a chance for she guides through her tour. Frieda comments with a lot of respect, discernment and very nuanced feelings the world where she grew up. An incredibly enriching sharing and experience! I highly recommend it.

After the tour we all ate together in a Jewish deli. Food was great since it was just after Passover and it was nice to eat knishes and Hungarian goulash.our tour guide really knew the neighborhood

Best walking tour ever! Frieda masterfully combines authentic insider knowledge with the viewpoint of someone who has left this community without rejecting it. You as a complete outsider will be at the same wavelength as her, but she will be able to convey their viewpoint. She will give you details and insights you would never get from a book or film, however good they might be. A masterclass in understanding difference.
