This tour is amazing and I highly recommend it for everyone! Freida is an incredible tour guide and she knows so much about the Hasidic community and lifestyle. We walked throughout the whole neighborhood and she shared so many interesting stories and facts. She took us to a local bakery and treated us to delicious pastries and treated us to a meal at a local deli at the end of the tour. I walked away with so much new knowledge that I am still in awe of how much I learned. I can't say enough good things about this tour. It was awesome!!

This was one of the most enlightening tours I have taken in my life. As a New Yorker myself, I rarely feel drawn to do tours in my own city, but this one is a must-do for locals and visitors alike! Frieda was extremely knowledgeable about the Hasidic community having grown up in it herself. She walked us through the community and explained the intricacies of every storefront, building, and person we passed. She pointed out the architecture that distinguishes apartment buildings and schools in the Hasidic community from those elsewhere, took us to a toy store to explain the values bestowed upon the children of the community, and so so much more. She even treated us to scrumptious pastries from a local bakery and traditional dishes from a local deli. There was not a single question that Frieda was unable to answer. I learned so much from Frieda on this enlightening tour and couldn’t recommend it more to anyone looking to learn more about the Hasidic community. Experiencing the community firsthand is far more impactful than reading about it, especially being able to note the antithesis of a traditional community amongst a modern city.

Frieda's powerful personal story was very moving. She spoke to people along the way which added a personal touch. We stopped several times for food and to tour shops. You won't go home hungry.
