What To Expect

Gettysburg

Your guide will orient you to the area of East Cemetery Hill which is the location of heavy fighting during the Battle of Gettysburg before you enter the National Soldiers Orphanage Homestead. This building was used as the headquarters for General O.O. Howard during the battle and was also use as a hospital during and after the battle. After the end of the Civil War the building was turned into an orphanage for children whose fathers were lost during the American Civil War. That is where our story begins...

My husband and I took our 13 year old grandson for his birthday. Our guide was wonderful, engaged all the kids as well as the adults. She was informative, entertaining, and we learned so much! We will be back!

i loved this tour! went on it with my school’s history club and i’m so glad that we did it. mike was such an amazing actor and didn’t fear crossing the line for a few jokes and scares, even for highschoolers. would highly recommend if you are in the area, especially around halloween!
