Haunted Pub Tour

Overview
Portland's longest running Ghost Tour with 300+ 5 star reviews. The city's wicked and wild history will blow you away!

On this spine-tingling walking tour, you will uncover Portland’s dark side. In the early 1900s, unsuspecting sailors were often ruthlessly abducted and wisked away through the notorious Shanghai Tunnels. We will entertain you with stories of how notorious local gangsters managed to kidnap thousands of people off the streets and why their ghosts still haunt the city today.

Our tour guides are local historians and ghost hunters who love to share their passion with you. We LIVE for seeing our guests eyes light up and hearing an audible gasp at the end of a spooky tale.

Stops include the famous merchant hotel, home to Nina Portland's most famous ghost. Friday and Saturday tours will include 6 local beer samples. Thursday and Sunday tours include two16 ounce beers. The tour is rated ‘mildly’ spooky and is a 50:50 mixture of wicked history and hauntings.

Beer was good, pubs were cool, stories/history were mediocre. I think there was a lot of missing info, stories were kind of generic.

Our tour guide, Tiff, was great; however, we had hoped to actually go inside of the buildings featured and that was largely not the case.

Hi there, I’m glad Tiffany did a great job and you enjoyed the tour stories. Our website describes exactly where we go on the tour. We stop inside two pubs and the rest of the tour is outside.

Had fun learning some Seattle history. Wish they would have made clear we wouldn't be going in any basements or tunnels...would not have booked this tour. We were allowed to go quickly look in Kells cigar bar downstairs that was originally part of the tunnel...this was the only two minutes spent below ground. The beer and food at Kells and Old Town Pizza were fabulous!

Hi there, thanks for your review. I’m glad you liked the beer! Yes, We are not an underground tour and instead we instead focus on the haunted history of Portland. The underground area of protland is not like Seattle and has been sealed off and closed.
