Haunted Pub Tour

Overview
Portland's longest running Ghost Tour with 300+ 5 star reviews. The city's wicked and wild history will blow you away!

On this spine-tingling walking tour, you will uncover Portland’s dark side. In the early 1900s, unsuspecting sailors were often ruthlessly abducted and wisked away through the notorious Shanghai Tunnels. We will entertain you with stories of how notorious local gangsters managed to kidnap thousands of people off the streets and why their ghosts still haunt the city today.

Our tour guides are local historians and ghost hunters who love to share their passion with you. We LIVE for seeing our guests eyes light up and hearing an audible gasp at the end of a spooky tale.

Stops include the famous merchant hotel, home to Nina Portland's most famous ghost. Friday and Saturday tours will include 6 local beer samples. Thursday and Sunday tours include two16 ounce beers. The tour is rated ‘mildly’ spooky and is a 50:50 mixture of wicked history and hauntings.

Visiting our Son who is going in 6 years in Portland! Thought this would be a fun Different venue ! Turned out to be a freaking blast truly thanks to our guide Tiffany! Her compassion for history and years if experience at the Winchester House as a guide for years cherry on the cake. Her truthfulness her compassion story she told actually had me personally almost tears up! Tiffany has the gift of making one feel the very many amazing moments in history you are there! My Son walk away after the tour loving Portland more - learned so much! And yes……boo!

We were very lucky to get the lovely Tiffany Amber as our host for the tour and she gave us a great evening. The walking tour was fun, funny and informative and we definitely learned a lot about the history of Portland, as well as the spooky stuff so it was a really well balanced experience. Tiffany regaled us with some great stories and images along the way and we were amazed at the historical importance of some of the city's features that you'd just walk past without even noticing usually. It was a real case of truly seeing the city from a new perspective. The stories were very enjoyable and the pubs we stopped at were fun and quirky, which really added to the ambience of the evening. Our host, Tiffany, was clearly a very experienced guide, she fostered a great atmosphere among the group of strangers and by the end of the tour, we felt like a group of old friends sharing a beer and telling each other stories. She made us all feel very comfortable and welcome and got some great conversation going among the group, bringing us together as if we'd known each other for years. All in, it was a really fun and informative tour and my fiancé and I would definitely recommend it. Adding a note to bring an umbrella or rain gear as the tour will carry on in any weather and also to wear comfortable shoes.
