Scheduled & prepaid, showed up & no one appeared. Apparently the guide had a family emergency. Three couples who signed up speculating about what was going on. We gave up 20 min after the tour was supposed to depart. However, in their defense - and to their credit - my wife got a call w/in an hour from their representative, terminally apologetic about the kerfuffle. The offered another tour or refund. Since we were leaving town the next AM, we took the refund, which they processed immediately. Sounded like there were just unfortunate circumstances - āStuff Happensā.
This was the 4th ghost tour weāve tried (London, Boston, Charleston SC, and now Gettysburg). Charleston was awful, the guy in London was so wrapped up in theatrical delivery he never quite connected to the audience (bit of a flake), and guides in Boston & Gettysburg failed to show up. Think Iām done with this genre of tourism.
