A good experience of some of the local food that makes Hawaiian cuisine unique. Plenty of leftovers to take home.

Cannot recommend this enough! Elless took us around various Chinatown food hubs, including through the Maunakea Marketplace. We tried food from about 6 different places and stalls, and all of it was excellent. Any food we didn’t finish we got to take back to the hotel with us, which served as dinner that night. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a unique, off-the-beaten-tourist-path excursion that tells you about the history of the island and its immigration through food.

The guide, Victor made the experience fabulous. He was friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and fun! He was always making sure everyone in the group was having a great time and enjoying the food. The food was amazing. The pork buns were warm and delicious (loved both the pork as well as the curried chicken), the poke and tuna were incredibly fresh (gotten at the wet market in Chinatown), and the local fruit was both delicious and fun to try. I would highly recommend this tour as it combines the market experience with the restaurant experience. Well worth it for anyone who loves food.
