Covid-19 has created tragedy. it also created a once in a lifetime opportunity to be the only ones out on the ocean on a spectacular day in September! As far as the eye could see, we were only sharing the water with our Outrigger Canoe Cultural Guides and the sea life! Kevin was determined to find the turtles for us and extended our time on the water. We did find an area with multiple sightings, one turtle out on the lava rocks until a wave assisted it back into the water! Along the way we enjoyed fish, coral, sea urchins, and starfish in the crystal clear water. Paddling, after an introduction, was a very enjoyable experience. Kevin's sharing of Hawaiian history, culture, and Polynesian navigation skills was very much appreciated. Damon shared his wonderful voice and music. We had such a good time that we were hoping to repeat this great experience, but sadly, our time constraints prevented this.

Aloha Jean and Fran, Mahalo for your thoughtful review! You were the first guests in 6 months due to COVID-19! It was a spiritual experience! Thanks for joining us on the wa’a. You were also the first to hear Damon William, local boy favorite sing a few songs! Malama pono and a hui hou...until we meet again, never goodbye! Mahalo, Kevin and Damon

My husband and I had an amazing time with Randy as our guide! We ended up having a private tour because the rest of the group that was signed up didn't show. We learned about the art of Polynesian wayfinding, saw turtles and whales, listened to the whales, and most importantly, had the chance to talk story with our new friend. Once we are able to safely return to Maui, we will come visit again. I'll recommend this outrigger canoe tour to any traveler who is looking for an authentic and exciting experience, even if there is a full canoe :)

Kevin was so welcoming and informative. We really enjoyed learning about Hawaiian history and culture. We also enjoyed getting out on the water and paddling while enjoying the beautiful scenery and some turtles. We had such a great time and would recommend it to anyone!
