Paddle a traditional Hawaiian outrigger canoe while learning about the ancient art of Wayfinding and Celestial Navigation used by early Hawaiian voyagers. Departing Wailea Beach, you'll paddle along Maui's scenic south shores and view an abundance of marine life, including endangered green sea turtles! Kevin and his crew gave us a true Hawaiian experience that was absolutely amazing! Kevin imparted extensive knowledge of his culture and we could feel his passion for the rich history of Hawaii. Kevin took 7of us, ages 12 to 70, paddling on the outrigger and gave each one of us a unique and special experience that we will never forget. We did many activities while in Maui, but this was the highlight. Thank you Kevin and crew!

This was the first thing we did on Maui, and what a wonderful way to begin our week! The water was spectacular, we saw turtles and fish, and our guide cheerfully shared about celestial navigation and Native Hawaiian culture. The paddling was easy, even with only 3 adults paddling. Getting into the canoe is a little tricky if you're short as I am, but the wonderful young guys on the staff are ready and happy to help. The kids (9 and 10) loved the experience, too, and declared it "peaceful" and "fun". I think this was my favorite thing we did.

We had such an amazing time on the ocean. We were able to see 9 turtles and several up close. Our tour guide just graduated from high school and was very professorial and knowledgeable about sea life. Thanks for a great time!
