At Portalupi Wines, a small boutique winery that is family-owned and operated, you'll enjoy a seasonal and delicious wine and bite pairing, with their award-winning wines and delicious local farm-to-table bites. You'll learn about the winemaker's heritage as they share the "Cal-Ital" food and wine cultulre with you.

Being fans of good food and wine, we had to give this tour a try and wow, it was really worth it. We had a friendly, small group and made our way around the nouveau town of Healdsburg. It was a great balance of wine and food, sampling the ‘best in show’ for Healdsburg: A beautiful Portugese wine and food pairing (probably the best scallop I ever tasted!), the best Tapas place in the area (lots of super great food!), awesome wine tasting with a boutique/small volume winery (Gustafson), a ‘Taste of Tea’ to showcase some great Teas, and a dessert at ‘Moustache Brothers’ to finish things up. Like any tour, we were leery at first…but this one really hit it out of the park. Our leader Tammy Gass was great, and she did a super job at balancing the local knowledge from our stops with her insight on the local area. Dollar for Dollar this was one of the best value tours we did during our vacation.

This tour is such a nice alternative to wine tasting and a relaxing way to spend an afternoon in Healdsburg. Tammy was an excellent, enthusiastic guide, and this was a great way to sample a variety of wonderful restaurants, and we even had a tea tasting! All of the food was delicious, and the restaurants very welcoming. Highly recommended!
