Opted for the Kirkwood ride. Just right! Big powerful boat with only 3 guests, lots of gear onboard for a group of rafters. Nice lunch. Nice cool day, a few showers and the green of the landscapes was amazing. Spent two nights in the Lodge, all by ourselves. Hosts were very gracious and accommodating. Couldn't have asked for more. Be prepared to travel quite a distance for dinner dining, we took stuff to micro wave/barbecue at the lodge.

Thank you for your great review! We are located in a remote location with minimal services, it is always good to have a cooler in the car with drinks and food. We appreciate your business and your word of mouth advertising. It is people like you that keep us in business! Happy adventuring!

We took a early May 2 hour tour, which was perfect for the whole party involved. We had 20-80 year olds on board. The crew was helpful and reassuring for some of the older folks in our group, safe and very informed with the surrounding area and nature/science of the canyon. We had a blast, saw some wildlife and early primitive paintings. Be prepared, you may get unexpectedly wet, but then you're on a jet boat on Hell's Canyon river! Enjoy the nature and views :)

Thank you for your great review! You embraced all that Hells Canyon has to offer! Anytime I read a review that encourages people to soak up not only the big white water rapids but the history, the views, and all that nature has to offer in Hells Canyon, I consider it a job well done by our crew! We share a mutual love for Hells Canyon! I hope we get to spend more time with you in Hells Canyon in the future!

We had a wonderful time being able to take 3 of our grandchildren out on the 2 hour tour last week. (2 hours was a perfect time length taking a just turned 5 year old for on his first trip.) Dusty, our captain and guide was wonderful and interacted with the adults and our grandchildren alike with great facts about the area for all ages. The kids enjoyed going over the rapids, the canyon beauty and being able to take a dip in the Snake River when we stopped in a cove on the way back. My mother took my daughters out on the jet boats almost every summer when they were young, so it was a wonderful adventure to be able to repeat this great tradition with our grandchildren twenty plus years later. All of the staff with Hells Canyon Adventures are wonderful, from Brandie and DeAnna in the Cambridge office, to the guides and other helpers. Make sure you take the time to take this trip for yourself, family or with friends. Truly worth the adventure! Can't wait until next summer to take the longer tour to Kirkwood and repeat more history!
