The tour includes an easy paddle downstream, a hike, a rope swing into a swimming hole, lunch and a motorized canoe ride back. The Hule'ia river provides a smooth ride and spectacular scenery. We took the tour to see the beauty of Kauai with a little adventure, and we had a good time. The guide was fun and knowledgeable. The hiking was easy. The Hidden Valley Falls were small and average but the scenery during the kayak trip was wonderful.

We booked this excursion through Norwegian Cruise Line. I'm not sure if we paid $160.00 per person because of that, but it is NOT worth $320.00 a couple for a 1 hour kayak trip and a 90 minutes hike through a muddy forest area. Our guide, Elvis was fun and we enjoyed his stories. It is a very pretty area.

A trip filled with beauty, topped off with a picnic lunch at the falls. Our guide, Kohna ( I’m not sure of the spelling) very informative about many subjects; things Hawaiian and their history, and the plants we saw on the trip.
