Overview

A fast and fun wildlife adventure awaits your family aboard our zodiac-style vessels (rigid inflatable boats). This cruise of up to 20 passengers gives you a thrilling 2-hour look at Southern California’s year-round whales and dolphins. With speeds of 30 knots or more, you’ll spend less time looking for animals and more time enjoying them! Your zodiac adventure will have you incredibly close to the ocean’s surface and within arm’s reach of wildlife. At the conclusion of your cruise, you'll receive one of Mrs. Capt. Dave's famously delicious Triple Fudge Brownies. (Some folks love the brownies more than the whales!)

We are a certified Responsible Whale Watching partner with the World Cetacean Alliance located in Dana Point, CA, the Dolphin and Whale Capital of the World®, and the first Whale Heritage Site in the Americas.

Captain Chuck and Hannah were friendly, fun and did a great job at finding us whales and dolphins to see. We saw 3 grey whales, several sea lions and the coolest thing was a pod of 200-300 dolphins! Overall a great time for any age and highly recommended company!

We had such a great time out on the water on the Zodiac. It goes FAST and we were quickly on our way when Captain Jim heard about some whales a couple of miles out. There were 2 whales (mother & juvenile) that we had the privilege of seeing put on one of nature’s best shows. The assistant on the boat, (whose name I unfortunately can’t recall) was extremely knowledgeable and did a great job explaining things about these incredible animals. Then, we zipped up north to catch a pod of bottle-nose dolphins frolicking in the water. It seemed they loved entertaining us as much as we loved watching them. Captain Jim is very capable and we felt safe and comfortable during out entire trip. And, our assistant/guide was top-notch. A wonderful experience all around!
