Overview

A fast and fun wildlife adventure awaits your family aboard our zodiac-style vessels (rigid inflatable boats). This cruise of up to 20 passengers gives you a thrilling 2-hour look at Southern California’s year-round whales and dolphins. With speeds of 30 knots or more, you’ll spend less time looking for animals and more time enjoying them! Your zodiac adventure will have you incredibly close to the ocean’s surface and within arm’s reach of wildlife. At the conclusion of your cruise, you'll receive one of Mrs. Capt. Dave's famously delicious Triple Fudge Brownies. (Some folks love the brownies more than the whales!)

My daughter and I had an awesome time on our tour last week This was my third trip with Captain Dave’s and my first on the Zodiac (worth the extra money) Captain Marie and Hannah went above and beyond to make it a memorable experience. On the high speed boat we covered many miles (no, we did not get wet) and we saw a large pod of Common dolphins first and later Riso’s. Standing on the bow of the boat was so much fun because we were so close to the dolphins that were “bow surfing “ just under us. Thanks for a fabulous trip Captain and Hannah, y’all are the best!! Great captain and crew! They made sure we saw something! Offered quality insight to the wildlife of the area. They allowed lots of time to take videos and pics of the hundreds of dolphins we saw.

Captain Gary and 1st Mate Josh were both amazing. So knowledgeable and accommodating to us all. We saw hundreds of Common Dolphins, and as a group we voted to look for whales on the 2nd hour of our trip. We ended up seeing at least two Minke Whales, which was totally awesome. We feel lucky to have had Captain Gary and Josh today… they made our excursion perfect and memorable. In additions, booking this trip was easy, the confirmation emails were so helpful, checkin was efficient and staff was very nice, and the brownies were delicious! Thank you all!
