Overview

A fast and fun wildlife adventure awaits your family aboard our zodiac-style vessels (rigid inflatable boats). This cruise of up to 20 passengers gives you a thrilling 2-hour look at Southern California’s year-round whales and dolphins. With speeds of 30 knots or more, you’ll spend less time looking for animals and more time enjoying them! Your zodiac adventure will have you incredibly close to the ocean’s surface and within arm’s reach of wildlife. At the conclusion of your cruise, you'll receive one of Mrs. Capt. Dave's famously delicious Triple Fudge Brownies. (Some folks love the brownies more than the whales!)

It was an incredible experience and we were fortunate enough to see two different kinds of whales (grey whales and fin whales) besides a huge pod of bottle nose dolphins. The fin whales displayed courting behavior as we were getting the actions explained by 1st Mate Caitlyn (also marine biologist). The boat ride in itself was great fun with skipping over waves at good speeds. The boat is able to react quickly to reports of current animal sightings that are shared by the different whale watchers. All in all it was a great experience for the family and we felt safe in the professional hands of Capt. Marie and 1st Mate Caitlyn.

Fabulous way to get out on the water and see marine life. We found ourselves surrounded by a huge pod of dolphins, as well as Sea Lions feeding on halibut they caught. The crew worked hard to find whales for us - which they did. If they are out there - they will get you to them. Very nice, knowledgeable team. Perfect amount of time. Would definitely go again.
