Overview

A fast and fun wildlife adventure awaits your family aboard our zodiac-style vessels (rigid inflatable boats). This cruise of up to 20 passengers gives you a thrilling 2-hour look at Southern California’s year-round whales and dolphins. With speeds of 30 knots or more, you’ll spend less time looking for animals and more time enjoying them! Your zodiac adventure will have you incredibly close to the ocean’s surface and within arm’s reach of wildlife. At the conclusion of your cruise, you'll receive one of Mrs. Capt. Dave's famously delicious Triple Fudge Brownies. (Some folks love the brownies more than the whales!)

Was an incredible experience. Boat was fast and enjoyable. Crew of Marie and Zoey was terrific. Zoey was incredibly knowledgeable. And very yummy brownies were such a tasty surprise at the end!

The team at Captain Daves is always amazing! From check in to the boats to the customer service, everyone tries their best to provide a stellar experience. Today, Thelma and Louise aka Captain Marie and First Mate Jess found us a huge pod of common dolphin. Then they took us to an amazing pod of Risso's Dolphins. If you are thinking about going out Dolphin and Whale Watching, give Captain Daves a try.

We had an absolute blast! We spotted multiple waves and hundreds of dolphins. The crewmembers were as excited as we were and were very knowledgeable. This will be the only company we use to go whale watching from here on out.
