Highlights of Charleston Guided Walking Tour

Overview
Our two hour Highlights of Charleston walking tour guides guests through the historic French Quarter and South of Broad neighborhoods of downtown Charleston. Along the way, your guide will describe the long history, unique culture, architecture, and geography of Charleston and the greater lowcountry area, painting a detailed picture of how Charleston's tumultuous past formed the city now beloved by travelers the world over. You'll view some of the city's oldest houses of worship, burial sites, theaters, the forts of Charleston harbor, and the antebellum mansions that look out across the waters of the Cooper and Ashley rivers, among many other historic and picturesque sites. Our guides also offer their expert advice on other activities, restaurants, and bars for guests to explore once they've finished their tour.

We really enjoyed our tour with Bill whose knowledge of and passion for Charleston was truly impressive! Thanks for a wonderful and insightful tour, and hoping that tourism--and good health--returns soon to the beautiful city of Charleston.

My family and I were fortunate to have Bill as our tour guide today. His knowledge of the area and local history was incredible. It was the best history lesson and tour I've ever done. If you have the opportunity to take this tour, GO! It is fantastic and an incredible value for your money & time.

From the moment we met Bill, we knew we were in for an incredible tour. His encyclopedic historical knowledge of Charleston presented in a passionate, articulate, digestible way for the non historians and historians among us was astounding. I did my research and was so happy we landed on this one and Bill. We left energized, and a little smarter about the history of that beautiful city. Don't hesitate, book this tour! The best two hours we spent all weekend, except when we were eating shrimp and grits...
