Highlights of Charleston Guided Walking Tour

Overview
Our two hour Highlights of Charleston walking tour guides guests through the historic French Quarter and South of Broad neighborhoods of downtown Charleston. Along the way, your guide will describe the long history, unique culture, architecture, and geography of Charleston and the greater lowcountry area, painting a detailed picture of how Charleston's tumultuous past formed the city now beloved by travelers the world over. You'll view some of the city's oldest houses of worship, burial sites, theaters, the forts of Charleston harbor, and the antebellum mansions that look out across the waters of the Cooper and Ashley rivers, among many other historic and picturesque sites. Our guides also offer their expert advice on other activities, restaurants, and bars for guests to explore once they've finished their tour.

Amazing depth of knowledge delivered in an entertaining and personable way. Bill really knows his stuff and our group thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

I just got back from this tour and can honestly say it is the best historical tour Iā€™ve ever been on. Bill is a charming and incredibly knowledgeable guide. He made history come alive and gave us an unflinching look at Charlestonā€™s past. It is very obvious that he loves Charleston deeply. He shared so many details beyond what I expected from the tour. His mind is encyclopedic and we were treated to information about everything around us beyond the buildings, including plants and the stone pavers in the sidewalks. He answered all our questions; there wasnā€™t one thing he didnā€™t know. I highly recommend taking this tour with Bill! I wish it had lasted all day!
