Highlights of Charleston Guided Walking Tour

Overview
Our two hour Highlights of Charleston walking tour guides guests through the historic French Quarter and South of Broad neighborhoods of downtown Charleston. Along the way, your guide will describe the long history, unique culture, architecture, and geography of Charleston and the greater lowcountry area, painting a detailed picture of how Charleston's tumultuous past formed the city now beloved by travelers the world over. You'll view some of the city's oldest houses of worship, burial sites, theaters, the forts of Charleston harbor, and the antebellum mansions that look out across the waters of the Cooper and Ashley rivers, among many other historic and picturesque sites. Our guides also offer their expert advice on other activities, restaurants, and bars for guests to explore once they've finished their tour.

We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour of historic Charleston. Learned a lot about American history and were pleased to have spent time with a well-informed, highly engaging guide. Would highly recommend.

I got to tour the French Quarter and South of Broad with Bill - and he is fantastic. A wealth of information about the history, architecture, churches and streets of Charleston. He was informative, fun and really tailored the tour to our groupā€™s interests. It is an authentic tour told from a true pro on Charleston culture.

Mesmerizing tour! Not only because it is in a beautiful city but also because of the guide, Bill. My husband and I have never experienced a tour that was given with such passion or questioned our own knowledge of past historical events. We appreciated the fact that he described with great detail the many events that occurred right in the heart of Charleston. Because Bill was so engaging and humorous the 2 hour tour felt like 5 minutes. We look forward to visiting Charleston again and discussed doing a private tour as the history in this area is endless. Do not hesitate in booking this tour, it will definitely prove to be a highlight of your trip.
