Highlights of Charleston Guided Walking Tour

Overview
Our two hour Highlights of Charleston walking tour guides guests through the historic French Quarter and South of Broad neighborhoods of downtown Charleston. Along the way, your guide will describe the long history, unique culture, architecture, and geography of Charleston and the greater lowcountry area, painting a detailed picture of how Charleston's tumultuous past formed the city now beloved by travelers the world over. You'll view some of the city's oldest houses of worship, burial sites, theaters, the forts of Charleston harbor, and the antebellum mansions that look out across the waters of the Cooper and Ashley rivers, among many other historic and picturesque sites. Our guides also offer their expert advice on other activities, restaurants, and bars for guests to explore once they've finished their tour.

Wow, we came with 4 friends from all over and wanted to do a walking tour to learn about the history of this beautiful city. Well we hit the jackpot! Our tour guide was William, a dashing intellectual win insights into the history of agriculture, slavery, economic opportunities, and architecture that bring Charleston into the perfect historical and cultural context. I love having drinks and eating great food, but this tour gives you a real taste of the city! Thanks so much for an awesome 2 hours.

My husband and I took a walking tour with Bill/William when we were in Charleston in September. He was the most astute, unvarnished, and acerbic tour guide we've come across in America!! The details he brought forth really made you visualize the circumstances in Charlestons early years. What a GEM!!!
