Highlights of Charleston Guided Walking Tour

Overview
Our two hour Highlights of Charleston walking tour guides guests through the historic French Quarter and South of Broad neighborhoods of downtown Charleston. Along the way, your guide will describe the long history, unique culture, architecture, and geography of Charleston and the greater lowcountry area, painting a detailed picture of how Charleston's tumultuous past formed the city now beloved by travelers the world over. You'll view some of the city's oldest houses of worship, burial sites, theaters, the forts of Charleston harbor, and the antebellum mansions that look out across the waters of the Cooper and Ashley rivers, among many other historic and picturesque sites. Our guides also offer their expert advice on other activities, restaurants, and bars for guests to explore once they've finished their tour.

This is an incredible tour of Charleston. It came highly recommended from our friends and did not disappoint. Our tour guide, Bill Harris, was engaging, eloquent and knowledgeable of the storied history, architecture and cuisine of the city. 10/10!

We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour of Charleston due to the enthusiasm and depth of knowledge that Bill Harris provided. Two hours flew by as Bill escorted our group through various neighborhoods in the city, delving into the rich history. We highly recommend this tour, whether your are a first time or frequent visitor to this beautiful city.

Two years ago my husband and I did this walking tour and I repeated it with my sister this week. Iā€™ve copied my review from 2017 as the tour is still the same. My husband and I were delighted to be part of a tour led by Bill. He is very knowledgable on many subjects, engaging, informative and passionate about the city and its history. He relates well to people and presents information in a way that everyone can understand and remember. Highly recommend.
