Highlights of Charleston Guided Walking Tour

Overview
Our two hour Highlights of Charleston walking tour guides guests through the historic French Quarter and South of Broad neighborhoods of downtown Charleston. Along the way, your guide will describe the long history, unique culture, architecture, and geography of Charleston and the greater lowcountry area, painting a detailed picture of how Charleston's tumultuous past formed the city now beloved by travelers the world over. You'll view some of the city's oldest houses of worship, burial sites, theaters, the forts of Charleston harbor, and the antebellum mansions that look out across the waters of the Cooper and Ashley rivers, among many other historic and picturesque sites. Our guides also offer their expert advice on other activities, restaurants, and bars for guests to explore once they've finished their tour.

We lucked out and got a private tour with Palmer . She was very knowledgeable and gave us a wealth of information about Charleston as we walked the beautiful streets. We totally enjoyed the tour.

The Charleston walking tour was great! Our tour guide Bill was very knowledgeable and got very in-depth about the history of Charleston. What we really appreciated about Bill was the fact that he does not sugar coat anything & was very passionate about what he spoke of. The sights he walked us to are beautiful. Other than the heat & humidity, the tour was awesome!

You can't help but get excited when you have a tour guide like Bill walking you around a city he's so proud of. The depth of his knowledge makes you feel like you're back in college taking a history course but Bill is a renaissance man who also has a wealth of information about current Charleston - nightlife, restaurants, neighboorhoods, the people, etc. Tours like this are what make your trip from good to excellent! If you love learning and love someone who's so passionate, this is the tour for you.
