Highlights of Charleston Guided Walking Tour

Overview
Our two hour Highlights of Charleston walking tour guides guests through the historic French Quarter and South of Broad neighborhoods of downtown Charleston. Along the way, your guide will describe the long history, unique culture, architecture, and geography of Charleston and the greater lowcountry area, painting a detailed picture of how Charleston's tumultuous past formed the city now beloved by travelers the world over. You'll view some of the city's oldest houses of worship, burial sites, theaters, the forts of Charleston harbor, and the antebellum mansions that look out across the waters of the Cooper and Ashley rivers, among many other historic and picturesque sites. Our guides also offer their expert advice on other activities, restaurants, and bars for guests to explore once they've finished their tour.

Our concierge recommended Oyster Point Tours, and so glad she did. Bill was our guide, and there were only four on our tour, which made it so personal. He knows everything about the city. The two hours went by so quickly and we learned so much. He is a very academic person, but made the tour so much fun with his personal anecdotes. We saw a lot of large tours go by, but were so glad we chose this one with the personal touch.

This was not our first time in Charleston, and we had done other walking tours in the past. This tour was,by far, the best tour we have taken. Palmer is amazing. She is so knowledgeable about the history and architecture of the city. The tour is 2 hours, but it goes so quickly. Palmer has a way of capturing ones interest immediately which makes the tour outstanding. The pace is perfect. You don't want to miss it
