Highlights of Charleston Guided Walking Tour

Overview
Our two hour Highlights of Charleston walking tour guides guests through the historic French Quarter and South of Broad neighborhoods of downtown Charleston. Along the way, your guide will describe the long history, unique culture, architecture, and geography of Charleston and the greater lowcountry area, painting a detailed picture of how Charleston's tumultuous past formed the city now beloved by travelers the world over. You'll view some of the city's oldest houses of worship, burial sites, theaters, the forts of Charleston harbor, and the antebellum mansions that look out across the waters of the Cooper and Ashley rivers, among many other historic and picturesque sites. Our guides also offer their expert advice on other activities, restaurants, and bars for guests to explore once they've finished their tour.

Our guide was Palmer Stowe and she was outstanding! Her knowledge of the city was so complete there wasnā€™t a single question she couldnā€™t answer. Plus she was so high energy and we got to see so much in two hours it was amazing. Best walking tour Iā€™ve ever had in any city. I give this tour and Palmer my highest recommendation!

We took at private walking tour with Palmer from Oyster Point Tours on Friday, March 30. It was fantastic! Palmer was so kind, interesting, and personable. We loved her, including our 10-year-old son. She took us SO many places we never would have seen on our own, and even if we had, we sure wouldn't have learned as much about them. I highly recommend Oyster Point Tours!

A group of five women took a tour with Oyster Point last Thursday and couldn't be happier with it. Our guide, Palmer, was terrific. She walked us through the history of the city using landmarks, stories and architecture. I appreciated how she kept information flowing without going too deep into details that can make you tune out, but deep enough that you feel like you have a working knowledge of the city. Would definitely recommend this tour.
