This was such a nice hike and our guide Aaron made the whole experience very comfortable and fun. I was traveling solo and didnā€™t rent a car on this trip and so I wanted a hike which would guide me from end to end. This was perfect for me. The group and bus ride were honestly so fun and I got to meet a lot of cool people who made the trip memorable. Aaron was really kind and patient with everyone regardless of their speed and if they needed any rest. He also had so many fun facts and was super knowledgeable about many things from nature to plants to science to food. I was a bit worried about whether I matched the fitness level described in the details (since moderate fitness levels felt vague) but I was fine. For some context in case itā€™s helpful to anyone who is not sure whether they match the level of fitness required (I was confused), I walk a decent amount and do some sort of exercise somewhat often like cycling or jogging (and there are stretches of time where the only exercise I get is walking) and this seemed to be good, there were a lot of uphills as expected though. This is just based on this one experience it might be different for different trails. Plus Aaron picked a beautiful trail that was a slightly lower altitude but I believe there are ways to help with breathing when a little higher up. Overall I highly recommend this hike! Whether youā€™re traveling solo or with others or want to enjoy a hike but with an end-to-end experience and not have to rent a car or go alone, itā€™s totally worth it.

We decided to book a tour because we didn't rent a car. We were debating between the bus tour and the hiking tour. I am glad that we chose the hiking tour. There were a lot of great views on our ways to Dream lake and Emerald lake. Our tour guide Ty was very knowledgeable and friendly! We had such a good time.

We had an awesome day! We were a little worried to begin with, given that it was pouring rain on the drive up to The Rocky Mountain National Park. The rain cleared when we arrived in the car park and started our hike. Our fabulous guide - Mike - was more than happy to show us great vantage points for photos and often took them so we could be in them. He was also very informative about the local wildlife and landscape. Our hike left from the Bear Lake Trailhead up to Emerald Lake and passed Nymph Lake and Dream Lake. We were fortunate enough to see some Elk, Ground Squirrels and Trout. I would thoroughly recommend this experience. Thanks so much Mike!
