Our tour guide Sara was so wonderful very informative and super understanding about everyone’s physical level. We had a great group of 9 people and was definitely a life changing experience seeing the beautiful views of The Rocky Mountains!! Altitude, sickness and dehydration are a real thing unfortunately, on the way down I started getting sick, but my guide and husband were with me supporting me the whole way! And I made it. And I didn’t have to go to the hospital!! Hydrate before for your trip!

It was so convenient, they picked us up right in the center of town. Our guide was great and had everything we needed on hand, even snowshoes. The best part was lunch on the ice lake.

It was pretty good re the sights and beauty of the area. The hike was suppose to be, according to the overview, ā€œeasy/moderate 4-mile hike with plenty of opportunity to sit and take in the view.ā€ It ended up being a 6.2 mile hike at a pretty quick speed and which our guide stayed way up ahead from us at times where we couldn’t see him. He would stop for sights where we would catch up and then he’d do it again even after my husband asked him to slow down several times. Also I fell and sprained my wrist and skinned my knee pretty good. He didn’t have any first aid with him for me to clean me knee and hands. Crazy. Close to the end of the hike, he praised us for being the fastest group to hike that part of the hike. We didn’t know it was a race. We signed up for the ā€œeasy/moderate 4-mile hikeā€ not a race. We would like to have some of our money back. Our lunch was a dry sandwich with a cookie and no chips. He blamed another employee for not ordering lunch correctly.

Hi Ronda, Thank you for taking the time to give us a review. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed sights and the beauty of Rocky Mountain National Park! I'm sorry to hear about your fall on the hike. I did connect with your guide and he assured me that he did have his first aid kit with him on this hike. Our guest's safety is our top priority and we require all our guides to carry a first aid kit at all times. If you return to Colorado, I may recommend our Rocky Mountain National Park Sightseeing tour. This tour is better suited for travelers who would like to explore the sights of the park at a leisurely pace. Thank you again for your feedback.
