This was a wonderful Shore Excursion. Jill was incredibly personable and knowledgeable about Hawaii and had many personal stories to tell about her experiences growing up on Hawaii during previous volcanic eruptions. The group was small (just three couples), the van was very comfortable and I loved that Jill had a headset so it was easy to hear her even if others were talking. The lunch was delicious and purchased from a local shop and eating in the orchid business was a nice touch. This tour covered more places than any one tour offered by the cruise line and Jill was very conscientious about making sure we arrived back at the ship in good time. Hilo is a great stop to do a smaller tour with an independent company because you are less likely to get stuck by traffic on the one road around the island as can happen at other islands. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hilo.

We traveled to Hilo in late September and signed up for the Hilo Shore Excursion: Active Volcano Waterfall Black Sand Beach tour. Our tour guide Jill picked us up at our hotel for the tour. The tour was a small group which made it much more personal and interactive. Jill was excellent -- knowledgeable about so many things and also very personable. We enjoyed the tour and would recommend it as a way to explore the sights and area. It also provided a good orientation for the rest of our trip.
