Founded in 1565 by Spanish explorers, St. Augustine is the oldest continuously-inhabited European-established settlement in what is now the contiguous United States. Love history? Then come take a leisurely stroll, to explore the streets and some of our favorite venues, in St. Augustine! Tour Includes: 3 hours of glorious food and wine pairings 4 to 5 fabulous venues Fully guided by a licensed and knowledgeable tour host Exciting city exploration on route to each amazing venue Inclusive of food and wine (beer substitution available by request)

Government House Museum

Government House dominates the west end of the Town Plaza, a unique Spanish land use component lying within a National Historic Landmark District. Along coasts, plazas were to begin at the waterfront - to see and to be seen. Since 1598, a government building has stood on this site with a view of the harbor landing, accommodating administrative headquarters and residences of colonial governors appointed by the Crowns of Spain, then Britain, then Spain again. After Spain ceded Florida to the United States in 1821, this current Government House served as a courthouse and briefly as a Capitol of the new Territory of Florida.

During our recent weekend get away to St Augustine...the wife and I took the Wine/Nights of Light Carriage Ride. We totally enjoyed seeing the city in lights and our carriage driver, Joe, was very informative on the history of St Augustine. We were with two other couples...which made it a fun night of laughing and looking at the lights. I would highly recommend this carriage ride...when in season.

We did the corks and forks tour with another couple and loved it! Melody was our tour guide and she was amazing! Such a great value for the price of a ticket! We had yummy food and many glasses of wine lol! Beer was also an option at some places. The city was still lite up by the lights and Melody filled us in with interested historical facts along the way. It was a Beautiful evening . We finished with dessert and coffee . Would go again in a heat beat!

We did the Corks and Forks Strolling Tour of St. Augustine and had a wonderful time! Our tour guide (Laura) was personable and knowledgeable of St. Augustine and its history. We really enjoyed the thoughtful food and wine pairings and all the photos sent to us afterwards! Thank you Laura.
