Ben, our tour guide, provided a fun narrative to/from the gold panning site. He showed us how to pan away the dirt and just have gold left. My wife and I both were able to come away with a few gold specs. Definitely a fun activity! The Salmon bake was delicious! The dinner included baked beans, potato, slaw and dessert. Sterling was our guide from the bake back to the ship. He shared some fun stories and had a good sense of humor. We would definitely recommend this activity!

My husband and I booked this as our first excursion on our honeymoon cruise. Unfortunately they booked 2 too many people and we were left behind. Mother load Mike made us feel confident that we wouldn't miss out on anything. Although we waited for almost 30 minutes and started losing hope, Sterling turned our trip around. We got the VIP honeymoon special. Sterling told us about the history of the town, the mountains, and everything in between. He also made sure we didn't pass up on the PHENOMINAL blueberry cake at the salmon bake and pointed us towards a picture perfect spot behind the gift shop. The salmon itself was the best I've had, the live music had us swaying in our seats, and the restrooms were incredibly clean (not to be expected from an outdoor eatery). There are no complaints here! Definitely worth every penny.

The tour started off rough because apparently they had more tourists then they had seats in the Van. My wife and I got left back while mother load Matt called in an extra Van for me and her. It was just us two who were extra. We were getting really bummed because we didn't get a van until 3:55. So we felt like we were behind on the tour. Then the Van showed up with Sterling. The best damn tour I have ever been on. My Wife and I had a ball with this tour guide. He picked our mood up instantly. We felt like we were on our own private tour on our honey moon. Sterling had us laughing and so well informed. My wife and I felt so special. By the end of the tour we were so happy they didn't have seats for us because if they did we wouldn't have met Sterling.
