You will see beautiful gardens and parks, stately mansions, historic churches and buildings all the while learning about the people and events that shaped the history of this "Holy City". Tours depart approximately every 30 minutes beginning at 9:30am and your specific start time will be assigned to you upon check-in.

This is probably the best way to see the historic part of the city and learn about it. Our guide was a RIOT! Some folks might be a bit put off by his frank sense of humor, but we thought he was fabulous.

I took a carriage tour about 8 years ago. This one was a different route and equally good. Would definitely recommend it as an intro to downtown Charleston.

Great tour and great information. Saw parts of Charleston that I didn't know existed and I am now able to drive and tour the city myself from a place of knowledge. I now know why those bolts are in the side of the building and why certain homes look different than others. Great job HCTofC
