Not so much a tour but a talk in 2 rooms. Interesting but over priced. Exchange rate didn't help. Also no air conditioning

This is a very interesting, small museum and includes a guided tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about history of medicine but the stories could be a bit better presented. I was a bit bored by the end.

Y’all!! This tour was possibly my favorite thus far! My mom, husband, and I are all RN’s and though we know a lot of the medical practices in the U.S. today, we had pretty limited knowledge of the medical practices in the 1700’s. The docent was precious! She was so sweet and did an excellent job demonstrating the uses of many surgical instruments and practices of the time. We also learned a lot from the apothecary portion of the tour/demonstration about the herbs and the remedies they provide. We walked out blown away with our newfound knowledge about practicing medicine in that time before antibiotics, anesthesia, and the technology we have today!
