Overview

Set sail on the west coast of Hawaii Island for a 3-hour cruise to Captain Cook’s Monument for dinner, as a local historian shares stories and legends of the sites you will see along the way. First cocktail is on the house! Listen in to live Hawaiian music and enjoy a magnificent sunset as you sail back to Kona. Don’t forget your camera and keep an eye out for dolphins and seasonal whales.

What To Expect

Kailua Pier

Boarding is 30 minutes prior to departure. Guests are greeted with Island Style Pupus (Appetizers), a complimentary cocktail, Historical Narration and live Hawaiian style music.

Kealakekua Bay

Cruise 24 miles round trip along Kona's Gold Coast learning Hawaiian history, stories, and legends. The narrator will point out many landmarks along the way to Kealakekua Bay that are not visible from land. The narration concludes upon arrival to the bay and dinner is served. The cruise back to the Kailua Pier features live Hawaiian style music, gorgeous vistas of the Kona coastline and sunset.

Went with my family, it was a blast. You don’t want to miss this! It was a little hard to eat while we were going full speed, my salad was trying to fly out of my bowl, but it was fun. Arrive early for best seats, park at the body glove office and walk down to the pier.

The sunset dinner cruise was an INCREDIBLE experience, worth every single penny. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were perfect. We saw dolphins, whales, and a beautiful sunset, all while being serenaded by live music! The service is outstanding and runs like a well oiled machine but it still feels so authentic. Best tour experience we had on the island.
