Our driver was drunk and wanted to start a fight with one of the passengers. There were 12 passengers and 4 were under 10. Drove recklessly, Frankly we were all frighten the last 45 and scared to talk so that we wouldn’t set him off. He name was Anthony. I’m literally writing this on our way back from the nightmarish situation.

Sorry to hear about your experience but this sounds like you were with a different tour company. We have never had a a driver named Anthony, and all of our drivers know better to never get behind a wheel while under the influence.

Exactly what I was expecting. In case you are not sure what to expect, there was a single stop where we got out of the van to take pictures of the Hollywood sign. Everything else we saw, we took pictures from the van. Most things are not very picturesque, so you will probably enjoy yourself more just enjoying the sights in the moment rather than trying to get great pictures. Our tour guide was Shaun, and he was very pleasant and entertaining. One last thing, if you are going during a winter month, dress to be warm. The bus is an open-air bus (as advertised) and those winds can get cold. I would recommend this as a do-it-once sort of thing, especially if your out-of-town guests need something to entertain them for a couple hours.
