I have been on a few trail rides, and most of them were very forgettable. Not this one. The views were stunning. Mike and Rose took good care of us, including two of my grandsons. Loved it. Mike drove us to the trail head, leading us in song and wisecracking. On the trail, Rose took the lead of our group of 10. I was so impressed that she was constantly turning in her saddle to look back to be sure that we were all doing well. She answered many of my wife's questions. Mike was in the back, watching for issues ahead. He helped me learn how to "encourage" Apache to pick up her pace a bit. These two worked really hard to figure out which person to assign to which horse. They made all the equipment adjustments to fit our various sizes. I was impressed how hard they work.

We had a great trip through the canyon. What made our trip extra special was our guide Rose. She was very friendly, and very experienced with our horses. She did a great job leading us and was also very informative.
